I saw such posts many times. Life rules of Moomins, Little Prince, Winnie the Pooh, ALF, etc. And I thought to try and make my own "set of rules" of our favourite madman with a box. (In case you get confused, ask me, and I'll explain where it came from). I didn't include the ones which everybody knows (like "bowties are cool", "time is a big ball of wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey stuff") cuz it's clear without words, eh? So, here goes.
- Addresses which do not exist don't always mean that one who uses them is a fraud.
- Wishing wells can serve a good deal, even if you don't believe in them.
- When on crossroads, sometimes it's better to turn left.
- If you want to hide your real name, just translate it into another language, switch the words and translate it back. Success guaranteed.
- Nothing's impossible, just a little bit improbable.
- Umbrellas are useful not only when it rains.
- Most often the answer lies around the corner or behind your back.
- Time is relative. Past, present and future always affect each other.
- Nothing and nobody is forgotten.
- Even if it seems that the straight way is blocked, remember that there are other ways. If you forgot something, search in your dreams.
- Sometimes they come back.
- There's nobody and nothing in the Universe that does things that you do.
- Oil, dirt, dust and everything like those are not the reasons of disasters. The main reason is nothing else but greed.
- Illusion is the element of normality.
- Being brave is not about fearing nothing. It's about being afraid but going on doing what you should do.
- Universe is infinite, and that means everything is possible.
- There's no point in being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes.
- Changes are not good or bad. You simply have to get used.
- If you have true friends, no matter where, you will not die.
- Four minutes can play a great role. Even such small amount of time can change you gradually.
- If your friends don't believe you, whistle a children's song and say the magic words.
- Catchphrases are cool!
If you want to add something, just tell me.

Language Dragons
Once upon a time, a dragon settled next to a large and rich city. The residents wanted to get rid of it at first, but then they managed to come to an agreement with it: the city would give the dragon a pound of gold and three jewels every day, and it would not bother them. The dragon kept it word, so the residents went on paying it. But soon enough, the situation began getting closer to a disaster, and a knight came to the city to slay the dragon. While he was on his way, an old turtle gave him the magical sword able to defeat the beast, but warned him that slaying the dragon was not the most difficult thing. The knight laughed it off, but accepted the sword and did slay the dragon, but as soon as he entered its lair full of treasure, he was so blinded with it that he did not mention that he transformed into a dragon himself. Since then, the residents had to pay even more - two pounds of gold instead of one and ten jewels instead of three, because the new dragon was even greedier than
Others died of fright
A traveler was walking along the road, when he saw Death approaching to the nearby town. He asked Death: "Why are you going there?" Death replied: "God told me to take five thousand people from there." The traveler thought: "Who am I to tell Him what to do?" and walked on. A year later, the traveler learned that ten thousand people died at that town. Soon he met Death once more and asked him: "You told me that you were ordered to take five thousand people from that town. Why did you take ten thousand, then?" Death replied: "I did take five thousand people. Others died of fright." Yes, we all heard that words can kill. Especially if they are repeated again, and again, and again. "There will be a months-long blackout if the dam is destroyed." "And right now, the missiles are aimed at the dams." "Winter is coming." "There will be rebellions." "Prepare for the worst." Of course, there are sensible words of reassurance that are able to prove that it should be all right, but will those who
I am not okay
"Considering that all the previous strikes took place at the refinery, most probably, this is dramatization for the purpose of getting more ammo." "That's what they deserved! They got too relaxed!" "Wow, this is so beautiful!" "Goodnight, pig-b***hes!" "Most probably, there was an ammunition depot at that place." No, it was not a dramatization. A missile did destroy a mall in my hometown, which did not have any military value. It was a regular mall where people went to buy products. I can't say I'm surprised. Deep inside I was expecting that something like this would happen. You know, some people believe that "it would not happen to them" when they see reports about disasters. Wrong, wrong, wrong. Those comments are not the worst thing. It is that history repeats itself, because humans do not learn from their mistakes and do not understand that past cannot be changed, but it may teach you a lot of things. Approximately once a century a person who believes they are smarter than anyone
What is your symbol of hope?
Two years ago, when the COVID-19 pandemics broke out, the summer terrace of my favourite chocolate shop/cafe being built became a symbol of hope to me. Now there is a new one. Those are the stripes of light on the ceiling in my room in the evening. If they are there, it means that the street lights are on and there is no air raid warning, because when it begins, they are turned off. And what is your symbol of hope?
